And the First Hospital Visit of the Year Goes to....
....surprisingly enough the calmest one of the kids - Lola!
And yes, there is nothing more disturbing to the core of your soul that someone calling you from school saying that one of your kids was taken to the hospital. Somehow the brain manages to come up with a million questions in about a split second and no, there are usually never any answers to any of them. Of course walking into a hospital room which includes, blonde blood covered hair being cut, syringes full of lidocaine, a doctor, a blood covered kid, and a nurse holding up a suture needle that looks like a fish hook is also not he most pleasant thing to do either.
So the short story is that Lola fell off a wall at school and onto a rock, which is where she acquired her 1EC dollar sized injury (little joke there, sorry). She was then taken to the hospital by our former roommate Zon (which is now also Island Boy's Teacher) and our friend AbFab.
Four stitches (and one almost passed out Mommy that did NOT appreciate having to hold her down while she was being sewn up) later she was all patched up and good to go.

That reminds me.... I think it's about time I explain the update (and probably explain) our Injury Log and for me to go have a GIANT Pina Colada....
