Happy Birthday Pickles!

When we first moved to Anguilla, she was still a baby-girl and I will never forget the look on her face the first time her toes touched the ocean.  Pickles is truly an island girl now (including her Caribbean accent) and her favorite thing is exploring, swimming and snorkeling.

She is an amazing athlete and even won the island-wide sports day races in sprinting, against the <5 year old group last month.  She has always told anyone that will listen that she is an 11 year old boy, and she surely acts like it!

She has an insane amount of energy (and ADD) and is a hilarious whirlwind. Pickles is a very inventive problem solver and comes up with unconventional ideas and is never afraid to get others to help her - bosses them around - whichever way you want to put it.  There isn't a single thing in the world Pickles thinks she CAN'T do, or is too small to do, which has also been known to create some hazardous situations for her, although oddly enough she almost never gets hurt.

Pickles wants nothing to do with long hair or many girlie things, but her favorite colour is pink - although I strongly suspect that is the other "girlie" twin rubbing off on her.  Either way, she is having a pink Barbie cake today.

Happy 4th Birthday, sweet Pickles!
