The Weekend In Pictures
This weekend the Anguilla Regatta was taking place, and one of the check points was right outside our patio. We had a blast watching the sail-boats race by - and I do mean RACE as there was a LOT of wind this weekend. Click here to see a video of the boats racing by.
Oh and I was just told that my friend Bonnie and her girls' team WON the 7hr race on Saturday - CONGRATS!

Saturday afternoon was spend at Shoal Bay where the kids had a blast playing in crystal clear water with some friends.

The girls met a new friend also and immediately introduced her to everyone as their "new sister" and I must say, they do look like triplets (EEEK!)

Sunday morning was spent unpacking and cleaning the house as this was my first day off since we moved to the new place a month ago and I was getting tired of not being able to find anything. Below is Island Boy helping me by keeping the mischievous kittens out of whatever I was trying to clean up.

As a Mother's Day present I granted myself a trip to the beach BY MYSELF, which I've never done in the year we've been here. I had a blast climbing around the lava-rock cliffs of Captain's Bay and only got stuck/scraped/drew blood a few times, but it was well worth it.

Speaking of mischief... later that day we went to Shoal Bay for some frisbee and "team-chase"...

...reggae music, mermaid discoveries...

...and crab catching...

...before watching the sun go down to the band playing "Is this Love".
