In honor of the Anniversary...
.... I reacted to the tarantula that came at me (read "sat terrified in a stationary manner") this morning with a smile on my face.
I mean where else can you turn on the sink to do dishes and be greeted by a baby tarantula?
Where else would my first thought to this development have been "I gotta find a jar to show the kids - QUICK"?
Never before have my kids been able to go to "show and tell" at school with a Tarantula.... car starter cables and a paint chip sample books perhaps... but never a Tarantula!

(And baby tarantulas might be reason #11 as to why you'd not want to move to Anguilla - did you find any parents yet? *eeek*)

Of course I caught it! That picture is of it in a container that Logan used to take it to school.
And yes, we've found Tarantula parents before too, one of them was 20cm across and gorgeous!
