.. the worst airport I've been at so far - Heathrow.

Yes, my friends, it's the end of my "World Tour of Europe" and I'm currently trying to stay occupied during my first 4 hour layover in London.  I got to London from Brussels and my second 9 hour layover will be in Boston.  The last 3 hour layover will be spent in San Juan, Puerto Rico and assuming everything will go according to plan (which it never does) the entire trip will take me roughly 32 hours - sigh!



And no, my "relaxing trip to Switzerland" didn't exactly turn out the way I thought - relaxing - but I did get to see and talk to tons of people I haven't seen in years, and I got to see several friends in Germany and Holland as well, with travels through Austria and Belgium. 
This has been my first time in Europe by myself in 11 years and really, my first time in Europe as an adult and definely the first time as a tourist. 
Which is undoubtedly a bit odd, to be in your home country as a tourist, but after you get past walking around with a camera and a smile on your face all the time, being a tourist is not half bad.
 


The wedding I went on the trip to begin with was fantastic, more on that later, as neither my brain nor my fingers are working very well on the few hours of sleep I've been getting each night.

Now all I have left to do is sit and wait.... and fly and sit and wait... and sit and wait....
