- Flying over Dallas, it was weird to see all the lakes flooded. You know how it rained in Texas the entire time I was teaching here last? Well apparently it didn't quit before of after that and now half of the State is under water.
- I like sleeping, mainly because I never get to. This means I get very bitter when my cell phone loses track of which time zone I'm in and wakes me up an hour early. I am bitter right now.
- The only thing that sucks more than traveling for 24 hours with two 4 year olds is putting those same 4 year olds in a car and driving 200miles/320km.
- The only thing that sucks worse than driving 200mi/320km with your twin 4 year olds after traveling for 24 hours, is leaving those twins at their grandparents and turning around the next day and driving 500 miles/800km the next day until you're stupid in the head.
In case you were curious, 500 miles is like crossing Anguilla 31 times or driving twice across Switzerland or like driving from Munich to Hamburg. - The only thing to make the above worse is getting a phone call from your son, crying, telling you he missed his kitten that died.
- Being able to drive 500miles/800km on one and a half tank of gas doesn't make the above better but it's kind of cool.
- Apparently, as I was leaving Anguilla on Friday, a Concerned Citizen's March was going on, to protest an amendment to the Anguillian constitution as well as suspected corruption of the government.
