Live Blogging From... a High Speed Car Chase
That is happening right outside the Workflow Studios office windows.
About 5 minutes ago a black truck followed by 10 cop cars and a helicopter drove West on the highway right outside the office, and just now the same truck, followed by 19 cop cars, 4 helicopters and 3 TV stations, came back the other way.
I'm so glad I'm back in the US, this stuff would never happen in Anguilla.
Not because there aren't crazy people there, but because racing from the cops is futile, since the island is only 16 miles long, 1 to 3 miles wide, and surrounded by water

UPDATE: According to WFAA the subject of today's car chase was apprehended without anyone getting hurt:
"DALLAS - A routine traffic stop turned into a dangerous chase after a Dallas man took off in his car and drove down residential streets and onto Highway 75 to allegedly get his sick cat to a pet hospital. The chase began in Garland and reached speeds as high as 90 mph. Once Teague reached McKinney, he turned his vehicle back around and headed south until the chase ended in Richardson after stop-sticks blew out his tire."

The Americans are crazier than that, there is more to the story! The dude claimed that he was trying to get his cat to the vet quickly. Some reports said that the cat had been dead for several days.
