.... meanwhile, back at the ranch or rather... we've just checked into yet another hotel.  In case you were wondering, living out of a suitcase with bunches of kids isn't fun after about 24 hours.

On that note, whoever came up with this ridiculous plan to spend 6 weeks in Texas is insane!

Wait... that was me... but the kids have had fun visiting friends and family members, it's just that their parents are  getting a bit cranky.  If you don't get why, try going from absolute calm zen meditation to a techno-dance party and you'll get the point.

It'll be interesting to see:
a) how and when we'll make it back, or rather with how much luggage and delays (bets anyone?)

b) how everyone will react to the silence/lack of stores, which usually takes a couple of days to adjust to

c) what surprises Lance left in our house during our house swap
