The Kilo on Weight Watchers?

The 118 year old official Kilogram that's been locked up in a château in France is losing weight mysteriously.

Apparently the entire World is considering that ONE sphere of platinum and iridium alloy to be THE kilo and it determines measurement of the electricity generation and conversions to/from the pound.

Interesting story but since we're just talking about 50 micrograms - which is about the weight of a fingerprint - are we sure somebody didn't WIPE a fingerprint off?
