Halloween

My sense of time has been thrown off by unexpected travel plans, which have caused unexpected visitor plans, which means my Dad and his girlfriend are currently with us from Switzerland.
It feels like it's been week's since Halloween, but all the grand-parents out there remind me that it's not, so here the overdue pics.

IslandBoy wanted to be a "wizard-like-person" and rushed me until I told him to make it himself - which he actually did with a little assistance and great pride!

Anguilla doesn't have any craft stores and what little fabric there is, is very expensive, so it's difficult to get supplies for Halloween outfits.  On the other hand, that is also a fun challenge - to make something out of nothing - and that is also one of the things I am hoping to teach the kids with this Anguilla experience.
So with the help of a box, duct tape, fabric and paint, Pickles managed to get her requested "Sponge Bob Square Pants" outfit.  Speaking of duct tape, I still haven't found any problem in this World that can't be (at least partially) solved with that stuff, definitely a must!

Lola wanted to be a lolly-pop, which happened with some imported fabric (thank God for US teaching trips) and an old shirt, pillow-stuffing and plastic wrap.  She actually won the school's costume contest for "most original"

Lawya was a ninja (thanks Opa for the one outfit I didn't have to make) and BondGirl below was just plain evil.

Ok, I'm, revising my statement.... there aren't any problems in this World that can't be solved with duct tape or Photoshop
