Introducing...

When something is right, you'll know - beyond the shadow of a doubt.
That is one thing I am certain of.

And sometimes, even when the timing and all the logical reasons say "wrong",
for unknown reasons, it still could turn out to be "right".

Introducing, Lolu Flower Sparky Hoover, who was found by Ralph and I at the construction site of the kids new school, the Teacher Gloria Omololu Institute, which is a project I have invested countless hours in.

Lolu's cuteness and bad health would have been enough to convince me to take him home, but when a construction worker told me they named the puppy Lolu because he was found under the Omololu school sign (which I had designed for the Groundbreaking Ceremony back in May), the newest member of our family had found it's new home. Of course his uncanny resemblance to our previous island adoption CuBone didn't hurt the whole thing either.

(our beloved CuBone)

Lolu was severely mal-nourished, dehydrated and extremely anemic due to having his tiny body covered in over 60 ticks when we found him.  He's since been to the vet and is already starting to gain weight, grow a shiny new coat and acquire a bunch of new friends, although our cats (which are twice the size of the puppy) aren't included on that list.

Welcome little puppy, you have an awesome new family and as long as you stay away from my closet and the cat's food, we're all going to get along just fine
