Post Conference Activity #1
Usually when I go to a conference I end up with a bunch of shirts.
Or rather, my "clothes I don't really wear" drawer ends up with a bunch of shirts.
And yes, that's pretty much due to the fact that nobody prints Women's cut shirts and I look like a Smirf in a men's cut shirt.
So inspired by the book 99 Ways to Cut, Sew, Trim and Tie your T-Shirt Into Something Special I took a pair of scissors to the Lotusphere2008 C.U.L.T. shirt and made BondGirl model it.

Now sure the end result could be worn at a predominantly male attended conference but as far as I'm concerned, it's perfect beach wear

I HATE how there aren't any babydoll tees at any of the technical conferences I've attended. Next year, Francie, we plan in advance and make our own at Cafepress. I've got some ideas... I'll email you.

All this proves is the general desire of us all to visit the Anguila Notes User Conference in New Year, 2008. From December 28th till January 15th...

BondGirl? Is that Holly Goodhead or Honey Ryder?
Reply to this
Honey Rider for sure as my BondGirl, just like Ursula Andres, is Swiss

I'm sure it wasn't a coincidence that you chose a t-shirt with the word "Pirates"? It sounds appropriate for an island in the Caribbean

ok - this is a suggestion for all T Shirt suppliers next year yes?

I'm pretty sure we've had this discussion before... I guess it's not cost effective to make women's cut shirts, because there just aren't enough women there to take them. Sigh.

Not sure when "cost effective" came into the equasion of making your customers/business partners/friends happy but yes, that typically is the reason why no Women's cut shirts get printed.
Sorry I lost sight of the Women's meeting we had started to organize for LP2008 but we'll make it happen next year, with Women's shirts included!
