Cat Fur Trade
One of our cats dissapeared the other day.
If we lived in France, by the Swiss border, I'd be very concerned right now.
In Switzerland, it's illegal to import cat fur but domestic production and sale is allowed. It's also legal to kill stray cats and sell their fur for $5 a piece but after hundreds of cats have dissapeared from border towns which are presumed to be poachers.
Michael Schumacher, Brigitte Bardot and 106,000 others have now signed a petition to outlaw cat fur production in Switzerland and align with EU (European Union) rules.
And just for the record, our cat came back drunk, after being gone for 3 days...... fur and all!
