Not for Sale: Ice Skates (or much else) in Anguilla
Conversation that took place between the two 4 year olds and me:
Lola: "Mommy, where is the North Pole"
Me: "At the very top of the globe"
Lola: "I wanna go there"
Me: "but there is nothing but ice and snow there and it's freezing cold"
Lola: "I know that, but we can buy ice skates and jackets and make snow-men"
(Always knowing better) Pickles: "Lola, you can't buy ANYTHING here in Anguilla"
Lola: "Hm, true. Mommy, next time you go to America, can you buy me ice skates?"
Funny how fast kids catch on to that "you can't buy anything in Anguilla, but EVERYTHING in America" concept.

That's just so sweet, but I think roller skates might be more appropriate in Anguilla than ice skates! :o)
