Let's Make a Deal - An Udder Chaos Disclaimer

Life is short and we all have our own ways of living it.  Funny situations, precious moments and mini revelations pass by way too fast if they're not captured and I am especially bad at remembering what I felt or thought at some point in time, unless I write it down.
This is how Udder Chaos was born a little over 2 years ago.

Originally, it was a platform to keep friends and family members updated on Island happenings, birthdays etc. Over the years, it's transformed into more of a virtual journal (i.e."dumping ground") for thoughts, observations, celebrity sightings and other absurdities that I plan on printing for the kids, as a collection of short stories, one day a long, long time from now.

What's caused some of the slow down in blogging recently, is Twitter, life, as well as feeling like "I've already talked about that before". See, in my mind, all 6 of you (sali Mutter) have been here since the beginning and read every word I've typed.
Additionally, with more and more business contacts reading Udder Chaos, it made sense to keep certain topics off the site, in order to retain at least a semi-professional image.

Which brings me to the point of this post........
With every passing year, I get just a little bit more comfortable and familiar with who I am, resulting in me finally embracing me - A dorky geek, devoid of much grace, skilled at getting herself into some pretty embarrassing situations.  Living life to the fullest, hardly ever bored nor boring, usually with a smile on my face and with the ability to "sing along to the radio, as the car I'm driving is spinning out of control".

Call it wisdom or ignorance, but I have decided to no longer care if I am repeating something I've said before, nor am I going to feel the need to hold back on such "juicy" subject like my stint as a magician's assistant, my failed rockstar career or all the other crap that might one day rear it's ugly head anyway, due to this thing we in the biz call "creative googling".

I henceforth trust that you, my gentle readers, have - and are not afraid to use - your ability to find that little red X on the top right (or left) of this window, should you see something you don't care for or have read before. Deal?

Now that that's settled.....back to our regularly scheduled programming.....

    Hoi Franziska,

As a relative newcomer to your blog, due to that fact that I had not seen you in, what was it, 15 years; I am ecstatic to hear that you will continue to be yourself and write from the heart. Your blog is funny and inspiring with just the right amount of sarcasm and I can recommend reading it to anyone out there that appreciates great writing, so “dankä fil mol”, that’s “thank you very much” for all you non-Swiss out there.

    "...devoid of much grace..."

Now that we've actually met, my dear, I can say without reservation that such a statement is a complete lie.
