ALUG2010 - Call for Abstracts
Yes, I've talked about it before here and here, but today, for a change - I didn't start it!
As a matter of fact, all I did was turn Twitter off for a few measly hours, and somehow "let's just plan ALUG and show up" happened.... so without further adue, a bunch of people on the internet, wish me to present to you......
Granted, this may not be the conventional way to plan a conference, but then again, ALUG isn't an ordinary conference!
1. Have a fairly random (yet awesome) collection of people on Twitter decide they wanna go somewhereon vacation to learn about Lotus stuff
2. Have above set of people come up with conference cost, which is (according to Duffbert) two rolls of duct tape, pack of clothes pins, four light bulbs, or five bananas)
3. Have the same group of people submit abstracts
4. Schedule a conference date (am personally unclean on this part)
5.Go to the beach Have the conference
Wanna know what' abstracts have been submitted so far?
- "Essential Ingredients for Domino Development: Peanut M&Ms, Caffeine, a blackberry and duct tape" - Kathy Brown
- "Will it live? Mixing Domino Developers (or end users) and sharks" - Paul Mooney
- "Show and Tell: How Chickens can improve your customer relationships" - Marie Scott
- "Lab: Shades of White - a comparison of the 33 beaches of Anguilla" - Francie Tanner
- "Rum Cache treasure hunt and clearing tutorial" - Mary Beth Raven
- "Best Practice: Outsourcing your Notes developments to Goats - John James
- "Fixing broken Windows with duct tape OR why penguins are more fun at rum tasting parties" - Bill Malchisky
- "Show and Tell: How to drive on the left without landing in a ditch" - Susan Bulloch
So since apparently you guys are running this thing... what else do you want to hear about at ALUG2010?
